"It’s been 12 years since my stroke left much of body paralysed. I’ve been to various rehabilitation centres and gyms, making a slow but steady recovery progress. I was then recommended to see Alex some 2 years ago.
"Since then Alex has worked on, and is continuing to do so to great effect, my many weaknesses. His enthusiastic and empathetic approach to both my physical and mental needs is outstanding.
"I am amazed at what progress I have made in the relatively short
period I have been training with Alex and have no qualms in recommending his
work to anyone. My only regret is that I hadn’t come across someone like Alex

and general fitness whilst having fun and making sure his clients achieve their goals. His training sessions are individually tailored and he is also able to advise on nutritional plans, helping clients change their whole lifestyle.
From a young age, Ed trained with the national cricket squad, county hockey and athletics squads and was a runner up in the National Racquets Doubles Final at the Queen’s Club.
After eleven years at Cheltenham College and having grown up in the sporting arena, Ed furthered his understanding of anatomy and physiology at Lincoln University studying Sport and Exercise Science. Wanting to continue a career in exercise and health he qualified as a personal trainer and helped open Cotswolds Health and Fitness in 2008.
Ed has also had the privilege of being trained in InterX Pain Therapy by leading specialist Dr. Zulia Frost. InterX is an interactive Neurostimulation technology that delivers treatment for a variety of medical conditions. This allows Ed to mix exercise and InterX treatment when working with clients who have conditions that cause severe pain or when trying to speed up the recovery process after an injury or surgery. "My husband and I
decided to try IVF treatment so I decided that being fit and healthy would give
us the best chance of success. Ed helped me get my exercise levels up and my
diet sorted. After losing over 12 kilos the treatment was successful and we now
have a beautiful daughter and I am still enjoying exercise"
"After a set back following a slip at Paddington
Station, Ed helped me get back on track and start my training for the London
and Edinburgh Marathons. I have now completed two full marathons in very good
time and had the honour of carrying the Olympic Torch through my home town of
Glasgow during the build up to London 2012. Not bad for a 50 year old who vowed
never to run anywhere! It shows what can be done when you put your mind to it
and with the help of a local expert like Ed."

Vicki Fisher - Personal Trainer
Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer. I love to train regularly and, having experienced it myself, am extremely interested in how an active lifestyle can benefit a person’s health and wellbeing. Read more
My main interests lie in flexibility & mobility and my passion is making exercise fun and accessable to everyone. Training with me is not just about fitness but a healthier, longer life!
My own journey started about 10 years ago when I was so unfit &, never one to refuse a challenge, I actually joined the gym as a dare. It completely transformed my life, I shed almost 3 stone, realised how important nutrition and fitness is and gained an interest so strong I decided to retrain so I could share the love with others.
I aim to help you reach your goals whilst making you more confident in the gym environment and helping you discover all the benefits of a healthier lifestyle.
'Before I met Victoria I was really uninspired to workout. She not only designs me workouts that are genuinely fun and engaging, but that also work around my RSI and knee pain. I am now the most confident and healthy version of myself, which is down to Vicki and her training programmes. I wholly recommend her!' Kitty Medlicott, September 2017.

Lauren’s 16 years of experience in competitive sport and fitness has exposed her to a variety of workouts and fitness techniques to suit all ages and abilities. Lauren has been both an athlete and a mentor in the sports world and understands the level of intensity and motivation that is required to maximise benefits of fitness.
Lauren, originally from Toronto, Canada, moved to the UK in 2008 to break into the world of sport, something she has always been passionate about. Living in London for 4 years, she worked at both the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games well as at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games working for a sports marketing and project management agency. When her husband moved back to the countryside for work, Lauren decided to take her sport passion to another level: the fitness industry. Lauren has always been heavily involved in sport and fitness. Growing up on the ski hills in the cold Canadian winters, she raced competitively for 10 years before coaching others for a further 2 years. And living on a lake during the summer months, Lauren was an avid sailor racing competitively for 15 years before heading up a sailing school for a further 3 years. During her school years, she was field hockey captain as well as rowing captain and, in her final year, she was elected Sports Prefect.
Wanting to revive her passion to influence others in sport/fitness and make a difference in other peoples’ lives, Lauren made the switch from sport to fitness at the end of 2012, post the London Olympic and Paralympic Games. Since then, Lauren has been building her skill set and knowledge in the fitness world, taking the necessary qualifications to allow her to make that difference. Lauren is now a certified level 3 personal trainer as well as a certified level 2 fitness instructor and group class instructor having completed the Ultimate Personal Training Diploma through Lifetime Training. Furthermore, through a separate entity, Lauren is a certified Les Mills Body Pump and RPM instructor.
Lauren’s programmes are client specific, ever-changing, but more importantly fun (and delivered with a smile), helping clients to achieve their desired goals in an unintimidating way whether it be to lose weight, tone up, build lean muscle and strength, or improve their general health and fitness.
Although sport and fitness is a big part of Lauren’s life, it’s not her whole life. Lauren also loves to travel, write and host social events. But above all, she loves spending time with her family and friends. However, living 3000 miles away from her twin sister can be tricky at times!
So if you are looking to add heat and inspiration to a tired exercise regime, look no further!
