About Us

Our team have got many different specialties, but we all have one thing in common – we love health and fitness, we love making people feel better and we love seeing people get the results they want.

Alex Doggett – Personal Trainer
Owner of Cotswolds Health and Fitness Club, Alex has been working in the fitness industry as a personal trainer for 16 years, working with a range of different clients to help them achieve their goals.

His main interest is in rehabilitation and recovery work using functional training techniques to provide core strength, pain relief and improved posture and alignment. When training with Alex, the focus is not all about fitness. Confidence, nutrition, lifestyle, and enjoyment all play a very important part.

“It’s been 12 years since my stroke left much of body paralysed. I’ve been to various rehabilitation centres and gyms, making a slow but steady recovery progress. I was then recommended to see Alex.

Since then Alex has worked on, and is continuing to do so to great effect, my many weaknesses. His enthusiastic and empathetic approach to both my physical and mental needs is outstanding.

I am amazed at what progress I have made in the relatively short period I have been training with Alex and have no qualms in recommending his work to anyone. My only regret is that I hadn’t come across someone like Alex earlier!”

Vicki Fisher – Personal Trainer

Vicki has been personal training since 2017 and, based on personal experience, is passionate about how an active lifestyle can benefit a person’s health and well-being. Her own journey started about 14 years ago when Vicki joined the gym as a dare. It completely transformed her life and she shed almost 3 stone. Realising how important nutrition and fitness was, Vicki decided to retrain so she could share her love of health and fitness with others.

A word from Vicki;

I love to train regularly and, having experienced it myself, am extremely interested in how an active lifestyle can benefit a person’s health and wellbeing. My main interests lie in strength, flexibility, and mobility whilst my passion is making exercise fun and accessible to everyone. I aim to help you reach your goals whilst making you more confident in the gym environment and helping you discover all the benefits of a healthier lifestyle. Training with me is not just about fitness but a healthier, longer life!

‘I came to Vicki after a bad bout of health as I had no idea where to start and was super unfit. She has helped me strengthen my body and get healthier both physically and mentally. She’s great at motivating me when I need it, as well as adapting my work-out on days when I am not very capable. I also enjoy her company and therefore look forward to our sessions each week, I would definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone!’ Hannah D. 2020
